Maximising your revenue
The principle for making money with your music is simple: the more streams you generate on your tracks, the more revenue you generate. Here is how you get paid, then the concrete levers to increase both.
How you get paid
The platform does not pay “per minute” but per validated stream:
- A stream is validated from roughly 30 s of listening. Below that, it earns nothing.
- The platform pays out on average ~$0.003 to $0.005 per stream, depending on the listener’s country and their account type (Premium pays more than Free/ads).
- That money goes through your distributor (Amuse, DistroKid, etc.), which takes its cut and pays you with a delay (often 1–3 months). See Distributing your music — an essential step for streams to pay.
- Only your tracks (the « Mes sons » / “My tracks” page) earn money — warmup belongs to other artists (€0).
The levers
Three levers, to combine according to your goal.
1. Your « Mes sons » catalogue
The « Mes sons » share of the draw (set by the Diversification slider, 15 % by default) is split across your tracks.
- Many tracks → the streams get diluted: each track receives less, but your whole catalogue is in rotation.
- Few tracks (even just 1) → you concentrate the power on what matters.
To earn more, raise the « Mes sons » share in the Diversification section (without overdoing it, so you stay discreet) — the camouflage content itself earns nothing.
2. Volume: more VPS & more proxies
This is the real revenue lever. The more active accounts you have, the more streams you produce:
- Each proxy hosts a few accounts (few accounts per IP, like a household).
- Each VPS runs a number of workers limited by its CPU.
To scale: add proxies (more accounts) and add streaming VPS (more workers in parallel). The accounts you need are created and distributed automatically by your creation machine.
3. Community sharing
Streaming machines occasionally pick (~10 %) tracks from other members of the community, and each play is credited to its owner. In return, your tracks are streamed by other people’s workers.
The result: a network effect — the more active the community, the more “external” plays everyone receives on top of their own fleet. It is automatic, with no setting to change.
In practice
- Start with 1 creation VPS + 1 streaming VPS (20-proxy pack ≈ 60 accounts).
- Check your profitability with the Simulation in the Scheduler.
- Once it is profitable, add proxies then streaming VPS — creation follows the demand on its own.
